Ara, 7 July 2023, (RNI): The licensed ticket vendors are selling tickets (stamps) at a higher price than the prescribed price and the needy persons purchased them b paying what is asked to pay. If anyone dares to question the sale of tickets at higher prices, he or she is denied saying that the ticket is over. The list of tickets is not displayed by the ticket vendors of Bhojpur district due to which the correct status information is not available and the ticket vendors are realizing money arbitrarily for the tickets.

The Government and the District administration direct to maintain transparency and display the list of the stock but it has no meaning for the ticket vendors. The government has enacted a rule and fixed separate court fees for different works and for the purpose tickets are must. The government has fixed court fee of Rs. 100 for an affidavit and tickets are necessary as court fees for various works in the Civil Courts, District Magistrate Court, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Court, ADM Court and other courts. At the same time, for copying any kind of documents, a ticket is required in the form of court fee. Bhojpur district has36 ticket vendors of which 19 in Ara, 10 in Piro and 7 in Jagdishpur but no one bother to display list of stocks and charge higher prices than the prices prescribed by the government.
