THREE YOUTHS MET THEIR WATERY GRAVE IN BUXAR
Three youths of a family met their watery grave in the river Ganga while having a dip at Kritpura village under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district.
Buxar, 22 July 2023, (RNI): Three youths of a family met their watery grave in the river Ganga while having a dip at Kritpura village under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district. The deceased were identified as Satyam Mishra 15 son of Sanjay Mishra of Laxmipur village, Vikash Mishra 15 son of Manoj Mishra of Dumraon in Bihar and Priyanshu Mishra 12 son of Dhananjay Mishra of Mugalsarai in Uttar Pradesh.
SHO Buxar Muffassil police station said that the mother of Sanjay Mishra had died and all the family members and relatives had assembled on the bank of river Ganga for ‘dashkarm’. After the rituals, five teenage boys including Sanjay Mishra’s son Satyam Mishra and Vikas Mishra and Priyanshu Mishra who had come to attend the rituals of their grandmother, Prince Mishra went to the river to have a dip. While bathing in the river all of them caught in the deep water of the river and started drowning in the river. The villagers somehow rescued two youths but three youths met their watery grave and died. The villagers fished out the bodies and rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital where doctors declared three youths dead and admitted Prince Mishra there but his is stated to be serious.
SDM Dhirendra Mishra said that Rs. 4 lakh would be given to the family members of each deceased under disaster management scheme.
