THREE YOUTHS CRUSHED TO DEATH

ARA-----------------------------A speeding truck crushed to death motorcycle borne three youths near Sakaddi Mor on Ara-Patna main road under Koelwar police station in the night on December 15, 2023. The police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased were identified as Kundan Paswan 20 son of Bitan Paswan, Shiv Lagan 21 son of Jaipat Paswan and Dhanjeet Kumar 18 son of Bharat Paswan of Alipur under Ara Muffassil police station. Kundan Paswan and Shiv Lagan are driver by profession while Dhanjeet Kumar worked as helper at Iron plant at Gaziabad and had come home about 15 days ago.

Bitan Paswan father of a deceased Kundan Paswan said that the Patna police had seized auto rickshaw of Kundan Paswan about a month ago at Danapur (Shahpur) and so Kundan Paswan along with his friends Shiv Lagan and Dhankeet Kumar had gone to Danapur on his motorcycle to get his auto rickshaw released. They were returning home at about 10.30pm the same day and when they reached near Sakaddi Mor on Ara-Patna main road under Koelwar police station, a speeding truck knocked them down killing them on spot. Later the driver escaped with the truck.
