THREE POLICE PERSONNEL SUSPENDED, SENT TO JAIL FOR REALIZING MONEY FROM TRUCKS DRIVERS

Ara, 30 May 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested two police constables and a SAP Hawaldar from near Kosihar village under Chandi police station on Nasariganj-Sakaddi main road red handed realizing money from sand laden trucks in Bhojpur district and recovered Rs.1030 in cash realized illegally. The arrested constables are Vijay Prasad of Bharkuriya, Agrer, Shiv Kumar of Kenar Kal, Chenari in Rohtas district and SAP Hawaldar driver is Ravi Shankar Singh of Ganghar village in Bhojpur district. All are posted Sahar police station in Bhojpur district. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Chandi police station against the arrested police personnel on the statement of the SHO Chandi police station Sourabh Kumar. Later the SP suspended all three police personnel and sent them to jail. 

Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that the locals informed him that two constables and a SAP driver of 112 dial, were realizing illegal amount from the drivers of sand laden trucks near Kosihan village under Chandi police station at lonely place. He sent a police team there in the night and saw that the SAP driver Hawaldar Ravi Shankar Singh was realizing money from the truck driver while two constables Vijay Prasad and Shiv Kumar had detained the trucks. The police team arrested all the tree police personnel on the spot.
