ARA-------------------------Bhojpur police recovered bodies of three persons including a woman from near the bank of the river Sone at Nurpur village under Azimabad police station and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased were identified as Shanti Kuer 53 wife of later Raj Kumar Chaudhary , her sons Sudhan Chaudhary 31 and Budhan Chaudhary 29. Bhojpur police Pramod Kumar Yadav, Piro DSP Rahul Kumar along with the SHO, Azimabad police station and police rushed to the spot and had talk with the family members of the deceased and the villagers and on their revelation, the police arrested two accused in this regard. Cousin brother of Budhan Chaudhary lodged an FIR with the police under Aziambad police station regarding missing of three persons.
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that Sudhan Chaudhary had gone to the field in the village to attend call of nature in the night on August 12, 2024 but he did not return home. So his mother Shanti Kuer along with her second son Budhan Chaudhary came out of her house in the morning on August 13, 2024 and they also did not return home. In the late evening on August 13, 2024, the police got information about their missing and the police lodged an FIR under Azimabad police station regarding missing of three persons including a woman of a family. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and started investigating the matter. During investigation the police recovered their bodies from near the bank of the river Sone at a distance of three to five feet at Nurpur village under Azimabad police station and brought them to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The SP said that it seemed that someone had killed them with sharp edged weapons and sticks.
Family members of the deceased said that Bhola Chaudhary and his sons had threatened them with dire consequences on August 12, 2024 saying that they would not be able to see the morning on August 13, 2024. Fulwanti Kuer of the family said that Bhola Chaudhary was erecting a balcony on their hand and when protested, he and his sons embroiled into dispute.
The SP stated that an FIR has been lodged with the police under Azimabad police station on the statement of the family members of the deceased in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the other miscreants.
