THREE PERSONS KILLED, 15 INCLUDING EIGHT WOMEN INJURED

SASARAM------------------------Three persons were killed while over 15 pesons including eight women injured when a bus dashed a truck parked on roadside at Samarabad under Chenari police station in Rohtas district. The deceased were identified as Narendra Singh 50, Balu Singh 61 and Gowardhan Singh 52 of Kotada of Jhalawad district in Rajasthan. The injured Jalam Singh, Nummu Kuer, Bagawat Kuer, Fateh Singh, Narayan Singh, Brajraj Singh, Nepal Singh, Rajendra Singh and others were admitted to the Trauma Centre at the Sasaram Sadar Hospital. Later the police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem.

Nikhil Singh Patel, Nursing Assistant said that people from Jalawar in Rajasthan were going to Gaya in Bihar for the ‘pind dan’ of their ancestors in a bus. When they reached near Samarabad under Chenari police station in Rohtas district in Bihar, the driver of the bus lost control over the steering the bus dashed against a truck parked on roadside from behind in which three persons of a family in a bus were killed while 15 persons including eight women were injured.
