THREE PERSONS INJURED IN PLEASURE FIRING
In a pleasure firing, three persons including a cameraman received bullet injuries and were injured during a marriage ceremony at Bara Basantpur village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district in the night on Nune 6, 2023.
Ara, 7 June 2023, (RNI): In a pleasure firing, three persons including a cameraman received bullet injuries and were injured during a marriage ceremony at Bara Basantpur village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district in the night on Nune 6, 2023. The injured were admitted to the Ara Sadar Hospital. The injured were identified as a cameraman Mukesh Kumar Yadav 27 son of Lal Mohar Yadav and Rajendra Yadav42 son of Balak Yadasv of Ekdadh village under Brahmpur police station in Buxar district and Veer Rai 55 son of Lakhan Rai of Bara village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district.
SHO Ara Muffassil police station said that a marriage ceremony was going on in a house at Bara Basantpur village under Ara Muffassil police station in the late night on June 6, 2023. Meanwhile, someone started firing and bullets hit three persons who were watching the ceremony and were injured.
In another incident, a woman received bullet injuries and was injured in pleasure firing at Dihari village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district during marriage ceremony. The injured was admitted to a private nursing home at Babu Bazaar in Ara but the doctor referred her to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition. The injured was identified as Taramuni Kuer 70 wife of late Kuer Singh and mother of the bridegroom, Bajrangi Singh
Bhojpur SP Pramod Kumar Yadav said that these days cases of pleasure firing have increased in which several persons are either injured or killed. He said that he is very much serious towards it and said that FIRs would be lodged against the organizers for patronizing miscreants so that pleasure firing could be discouraged. He said that notices would be served to the houses where marriage ceremony was to be served from Monday onward to aware the organizers of the action if pleasure firing took place during marriage.
The SP further said that notices are being served through the SHOs and the Chowkidars to the organizers of a big ceremony like marriage forbading them not to allow firing anymore. The organizers have to furnish affidavit in this regard prior to commencement of programme or function.
