THREE LIQUOR SMUGGLERS ARRESTED WITH 210 LITRES OF IMFL

Ara, 1 June 2023, (RNI): Bhojpur police arrested three liquor smugglers and seized 210 litre of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) loaded in Scorpio near Khwaspur police outpost of Badahara block in Bhojpur district. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Anand Kumar son of Rajendra Singh of Bharsauta village under Balia police station, Shivam Kumar son of late Sarvjeet Singh of Satsadh village under the same police station and Anant Kumar son of Ramashraya Prasad of Anishabad Police Colony in Patna. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Khwaspur police outpost under the New Excise Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

SHO Khawaspur police outpost Deepak Kumar said that all the three liquor smugglers were coming towards Mahuli Ghat road under Khawaspur police outpost in Bhojpur district on a Scorpio with IMFL from Balia in Uttar Pradesh. On confidential report, the police intercepted the Scorpio and arrested the liquor smugglers with 210 litres of IMFL
