THREE GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES ARRESTED RED HANDED TAKING LIQUOR IN THE PRD OFFICE

Ara, 17 June 2023, (RNI): A team of Excise Department, at the direction of Bhojpur DM Raj Kumar conducted raid at the Public Relation Department Office and arrested three persons red handed taking liquor in the office. The arrested persons are identified as Yashwant Kumar, Computer Operator, PRD, Kamlesh, employee, Bihar Army Welfare Board and Binod, vendor of the District Transport Office. An FIR has been lodged with the police against them under the New Excise Act.

Officer of the Excise Department said that the arrested government employees were taking liquor during office hour in the office and someone informed the Bhojpur DM in this regard. On information, the DM directed to conduct raid and at his direction, the Excise Department raided the PRD office and arrested the three government employees red handed.
