ARA-----------------------------The population of Bhojpur district has increased to 36,92,374 including 6101 homeless families. The data collected under the first phase of caste based census. It may be noted that in the light of the order of the General Administration Department, the total number of buildings in the 21 charge blocks of Bhojpur district during the first phase of caste based census work conducted by the Bhojpur district administration between January 7, 2023 and January 21, 2023 is 398561 while the total number of houses are reported 424993.

It is worth mentioning here that the total number of families in Bhojpur district is 632314 who have their own houses and buildings. The total population of such families in the district is 36 lakh, 86 thousand and 583. It may also be noted here that even in the 21^st century, there are there are families in the district who have not been able to get even a roof over their heads. There are 1145 families without buildings in the district whose total population is 6101. After the end of the caste based census in Bhojpur district, the total number of families in Bhojpur district and the total number of population have come to the fore as per the date collected from all the 21 charge blocks of Bhojpur district in which the total number of families living in Bhojpur district is 633402 while the total population is 3692374.

Badahara block of Bhojpur district has maximum population with 333806 followed by Shahpur block with 297359, Ara block with 284357, Piro block with 276152, Koelwar block with 241665, Tarari block with 238739, Bihia block with 210209, Charpokhari block with 136520, Gadhani block with 119914, Sandesh block with 149232, Udwantnagar block with 216609 and Agiaw block is with 188518. This was confirmed by the date collected in the first phase of caste-based census work.
