Senior Congress leader Prof. Balraj Thakur expressed concern over the incident of intrusion in the Parliament and said that this incident raises questions on the hollow security of the Parliament. A major lapses in the security of the Lok Sabha is threatening the lives of the MPs present in the new Parliament House but it could prove to be a big danger.
Ara (RNI) Senior Congress leader Prof. Balraj Thakur expressed concern over the incident of intrusion in the Parliament and said that this incident raises questions on the hollow security of the Parliament. A major lapses in the security of the Lok Sabha is threatening the lives of the MPs present in the new Parliament House but it could prove to be a big danger.
Prof. Thakur said that this was a huge blow to the temple of democracy and no compromise can be made with the security of the temple. This incident is not only a matter of concern for the Central Government but also forces the entire country to think. What and why are all these happening? He added that people feel that the anti-national forces are giving strength to foreign terrorist forces. He further said that in such a situation, to avoid any major fatal incident, along with the reinstatement of capable security personnel, modern weapons should also be provided to the security personnel.
