Ara (RNI) The former MLC Huslas Padney and others got a respite after the MP-MLA special court rejected the Charge-Sheet filed by the CBI against the eight persons including the former MLC Husal Pandey in connection with murder of the Ranveer Sena Supremo Brahmeshwar Nath Singh alias Mukhia Jee on June 1, 2012. The CBI had filed charge-sheet against eight persons including the former MLC Hulas Pandey on December 16, 2023 in the Ara court. The court gave this verdict today after hearing the petition filed by one of the accused in the charge-sheet Ritesh Singh alias Monu Singh.
The Court considered it wrong for the CBI to conduct investigation without the order of the court after the trial of the case has started. While the accused got relief from this order, the CBI got a shock. Now the hearing in the case will be held on April 30, 2024 on the basis of the already ongoing trial, said the APP Siyaram Singh.
It may be mentioned here that the Ranveer Sena Supremo Brahmeshwar Nath Singh alias Mukhia Jee was shot dead near the residence at Katira locality under Nawada police station at about 4.30am on June 1, 2012 when he was returning from his morning walk. After his murder, the atmosphere from Ara to Patna became electrified and his supporters went on rampage and the unruly crowd resorted to violence everywhere. Their anger had paralyzed the entire police administration and a curfew-like situation had appeared at Ara.
