THE COLLEGE TEACHERS SHOULD DO SOMETHING NEW TO WOE STUDENT TO CLASSES

Ara (RNI) 32^nd foundation day of Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU) was organized on the campus of the university. The Vice Chancellor, VKSU, Dr. Prof. Shailendra Chaturvedy presided over the meeting while Dr. Prof Durg Vijay Singh, former VC, Jai Prakash Narayan University at Chhapara was the chief guest, Dr. Prof. Kanhaiya Bahadur Sinha, President, Bihar State University Union was the main orator. Pro-Vice Chancellor, VKSU, Dr. Prof. C. S. Chaudhary welcomed the distinguished guests and Proctor, VKSU, Dr. Prof. Anuj Rajak extended vote of thanks. The chief guests, VS, Pro VC and chief orator inaugurated the function by lighting the ceremonial candle and paid their tributes to fore front freedom fighter, first war of independence 1857 by garlanding the statue of Babu Veer Kuer Singh. The girl students of the university sang a welcome note and the VC, VKSU, Dr. Prof. Shailendra Chaturvedy honoured the distinguished guests with mementos.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Prof. Durg Vijay Singh, former VC, Jai Prakash Narayan University, Chhapara, said that the VKSU came into existence seceding from the Magath University in the year 1992. He said that the university campus was jam packed when the Vijyotsava of Babu Kuer Singh was celebrated on April 23, 1993. He said that the university was his work place.

Dr. Prof. Kanhaiya Bahadur Sinha said that the officials of the Bihar government are trying to run the university forcibly which is not possible and added that they had to made coordination with the governor house.

VC, VKSU Shailendra Chaturvedy said that he should have done only what was worthy of discharge. Speaking about Government Degree College, Nauhatta, he said that he had given the results from 2019 to 2022. He praised the students of different student organizations for their efforts made for the autonomy of the university and said that they cutting across their political allegiance came on one platform and fought for the autonomy of the university. While advocating truthfulness and honesty, he said that we teachers will have to give something new, do something new only then the relevance of education will become clear in the society and among the students at a wider level. Regarding the classes, he said that when the children can read on Google Platform, why would they come to the classes? Hence, teaches need to give something new. There is no need to explain anything to the children in the classes they will start coming to their classes easily. He expressed hope to the teachers, students and dignitaries of the town that as long as he continues his tenure, VKSU’s name will be mentioned along with Adarsh in the corridors of the University Service Commission.

Examination Controller, Maharaj College, Dr Shiv Parshan Singh, former Principal, Maharaja College, Gandhi Jee Rai, Dr Awadh Bihari Singh, Dr Anwar Imam, Dr Latika Prakash Verma, Prof. Palit, Dr Kundan Singh, Senate members, Santosh Tiwari, K D Yadav, former Senate member, Ajay Kumar Tiwari Munmun, Chhotu Singh, Sabbir , Chandan Tiwari and others were also present on the occasion.
