TEN NCC CADETS OF 5 BIHAR Bn DONATED BLOOD VOLUNTARILY

ARA (RNI) Blood donation camp was organized at the Red Cross Society Blood Bank under the aegis of 5 Bihar NCC Bataalaion. NCC cadets made a great contribution in the form of social service by donating blood. About 20 cadets could not donate blodd due to technical problem. Manjeet Singh, officer, 5 Bihar Battalion, Neeraj Kumar and VimlaKumri, former Registrar, Brajesh Kumar, medical officer, Dr. B P Singh, Sarfaraz Ahamad Khan, Dr. Jitendra Shukla, Awadhesh Pandey along with NCC cadests inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial candel jointly.

The donation programme was started with the voluntary blood donation by Subedar Manjeet Singh and Neeraj Kumar. A total of 10 units of blood were donated. Those who donated blood included Neeraj Kumar, Subedar Manjeet Singh, NCC cadets Rishika Anand, Bhola Ji, Archana Kumari, Lovely Kumari, Jaichand Kumar, Uday Kumar, Divya Kumari and Chanda Kumari.

Expressing his gratitude to all the cadets, Neeraj Kumar, on behalf of 5 Bihar Battalion, said that blood donation is being organized well through Red Cross Society. He was donating blood for the second time in Red Cross and added his blood will save life of some needy. It is a matter of pride and spiritual satisfaction.

All the youths of NCC are donating their blod for national and social service. While expressing happiness over the girls candidates donating blood, Vimla Kumari said that now the girl students are not dependent but all of them are enthusiastically participating in blood donation. All this is a matter of joy for all of us. She further said that all of us got a lot of inspiration from the Red Cross Society, everyone stood as a partner in organizing the programme successfully.
