TEENAGE GIRL WAS GANG RAPED IN ROHTS VILLAGE

SASARAM---------------------------Motorcycle borne three youths gang raped a teenage girl and threw her on the road in unconscious stage at Kochas in Rohtas district of Bihar. On the information of villagers, the police recovered the girl and admitted her to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital. Police are investigating the matter and are also conducting to arrest the rapists. Police said that after the medical examination, the incident of rape might be confirmed and when the girl regained consciousness, she would be produced in the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC. The girl was sister of a Bhojpuri song singer.

The teenage girl had gone to her uncle nearby her house in the evening on July 13, 2014 and was returning home after having dinner there in the night all alone. On her way to home, motorcycle borne three youths forcibly picked her and took her to a secluded place where they gang raped her and when she fell unconscious, the rapists carried her on the motorcycle and threw her on the road to give it a colour of accident due to which her legs and arms were broken and she was badly injured. Later the police, on the information of villagers, recovered the girl and admitted her to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital where she is still unconscious and is not able to say anything.

Elder sister of the victim said that four years ago, her younger sister was gang raped and at that time no action was taken that emboldened the rapists.
