TEENAGE GIRL MET WATERY GRAVE IN BUXAR

BUXAR (RNI) One teenage girl met her watery grave in the river Ganga while having a dip in the river at Rani Ghat under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district. The local boatmen fished her out and informed the police. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Anishka Kumari 14 daughter of Bala Ram of Atrauna village under Itadhi police station.

SHO Buxar Muffassil police station Arvind Kumar said that Anishka Kumari along with her mother had come to the house of Heera Ram, resident of Narbatpur, her maternal home. She along with family members went to the Rani Ghat to bathe in the river Ganga. While having a dip in the river Ganga, Anishka Kumari drowned in the river. Her family members raised alarm. Hearing their cry, the locals rushed to the spot and after sometime they somehow fished out the body.
