TEENAGE GIRL KILLED, TWO INJURED

Ara, 5 March 2023, (RNI): One teenage girl was killed while two other injured when a speeding truck crushed her near Ahirpurwa under Ara town police station today. Police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. Police seized the truck and arrested the driver and the clear. The deceased was identified as Nandani Kumari 15 daughter of late Chunnu Prasad of Devaria village under Udwantnager police station while the injured were identified as Manoj Kumar, her maternal uncle of Govardhanchak under Koelwar police station and Manish Kumar 17 son of Lal Saheb of Alekhi Tola under Badahara police station in Bhojpur district. Manish Kumar lived at Bahiro village under Nawada police station with his family.

Manoj Kumar said that he along with his niece Nandini Kumari and Manish Kumar had gone to his sister Rinku Devi at Devaria under Udwantnagar police statin on the eve of Holi. He was returning from there on motorcycle today and when he reached near Ahirpurwa locality under Ara town police station, Manish Kumar tried to overtake a truck and in his bid, he dashed his motorcycle and all the three fell to the ground. Meanwhile, a speeding truck came and crushed Nandini Kumari to death. a speeding vehicle collided the motorcycle head-on killing Nandini Kumari and injuring him and Manish Kumar.
