TEENAGE GIRL GANGRAPED IN ROHTAS DISTRICT
A case of gang rape of a teenage girl has come out of closet in Rohtas district after a named FIR was lodged with the police in this regard. The girl is scared as all the rapists are moving scot free even after lodging of an FIR against them.
SASARAM (RNI) A case of gang rape of a teenage girl has come out of closet in Rohtas district after a named FIR was lodged with the police in this regard. The girl is scared as all the rapists are moving scot free even after lodging of an FIR against them.
A class X girl student was going to her house from the coaching centre when on the way, her motorcycle borne classmates who also read in the coaching centre with her, forcibly got her seated on their motorcycle, took her to a seclude place where they gang raped her. They had stuffed a cloth in her mouth and blindfolded her so that she could not scream. Later the rapists escaped from the scene after the girl fell unconscious.
When the girl did not reach home till late evening, family members became anxious and started searching for her everywhere and found her on the roadside in unconscious stage. When she regained conscious, she narrated all her ordeals. Later a named FIR was lodged with the police in this regard but no action has so far been taken against the rapists. Resentment prevails among the villagers following the inactiveness of police. Girls reading in the coaching centre and nearby are fear stricken after the incident.
