SASARAM----------------------------One teenage girl drowned to death while having a bath in a pond situated at Dipau Baba temple at Sawari village under Kachhawa police station in Rohtas district. The deceased was identified as Priyanka Kumari 15 daughter of Nawal Kishore Pandey of Amauna village under Kishori police station. The villagers fished out the body from the pond and informed the police. On information, the police arrived at the spot and recovered the body and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
SHO Kachhawa police station Mitesh Kumar said that Priyanka Kumari along with her friends had to the pond at Dipau Baba temple at Sawari village to have a dip in the pond. While bathing in the pond, she went into the deep water and was drowned. The locals fished out the body from the pond and informed the family members and the police.
