EVENT- WORLD MEDITATION DAY
Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) Vice President Swami Smarananandagiri, addressing gathering  at the ‘Kriya Yoga Meditation for a Happy and Successful Life’

HYDERABAD DEC 21 (RNI) On the occasion of the newly declared World Meditation Day by the United Nations, the Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS) conducted a transformative workshop at Arya Vaishya Abhyudaya Sangam in Hyderabad. The event, led by Swami Smarananandagiri, Vice President of YSS, was centered on the theme “Kriya Yoga Meditation for a Happy and Successful Life.”

Addressing a captivated audience, Swami Smarananandagiri emphasized how meditation is not merely a spiritual practice but a practical tool for navigating life’s challenges. He explained that our day-to-day decisions are often influenced by personal preferences or past experiences, which may lead to mixed outcomes. In contrast, decisions guided by intuition are infallible.

“Intuition,” Swamiji said, “is the silent voice of the soul, and it never fails. Through the disciplined practice of Kriya Yoga Meditation, we can awaken and refine this inner guidance system.”

Swamiji described meditation as essential nourishment for the body, mind, and soul, likening it to food that sustains our well-being and clarity. He urged the audience to embrace meditation as a practical solution to life’s challenges, whether personal, professional, or spiritual.

In his talk, Swamiji further highlighted the importance of learning meditation correctly. “If only people knew how to meditate properly, everyone would meditate. Meditation is the universal answer to achieving happiness and success, but it must be practiced with proper guidance,” he said.

Swamiji introduced the comprehensive home study lessons offered by YSS, which provide step-by-step instructions on meditation. These lessons, delivered by post, guide seekers on the principles and practical techniques of meditation, enabling them to integrate these transformative practices into their daily lives.

The audience was deeply moved by Swamiji’s insights, with many expressing a renewed commitment to exploring Kriya Yoga. Attendees noted how the talk resonated with the broader message of World Meditation Day: to inspire individuals worldwide to experience the profound benefits of meditation for physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual growth.

Swami Smarananandagiri concluded his talk with a powerful message: “Meditation is the key to unlocking a life of true joy and fulfillment. It helps us align with our highest potential, guiding us toward success in every aspect of life.”

The workshop, held in the spirit of World Meditation Day, served as a reminder of meditation’s timeless relevance and its ability to foster inner peace and outer harmony. For those interested in learning Kriya Yoga or the meditation practices taught by YSS, more information is available through their official website and centers across the country.
