Under the joint auspices of Sri Sanatan Shaktipeeth Sansthanam and Sanatan-Sursari Seva Trust, a programme was organized to mark the 117th birth anniversary of Dharm Samrat Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaja at New Colony, Pakari. Prof. Baliraj Thakur presided over the meeting while Prof. Nand Jee Dubey inaugurated the programme by lighting the candle. Brahmeshwar Dasaundhi gave welcome speech while Madheshwar Nath Pandey conducted the meeting and Dr. Satya Narayan Upadhayaya extended vote of thanks.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Nand Jee Dubey said that being a high ranking sanyasi and Acharya, Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaja enlightened the entire India through organizations like Akhil Bharatvarshiya Dharma Sangh and Ramrajya Parishad. The work done by him for the protection of cows and for the unity of Arayavarta through cultural consciousness will continue to inspire us.
Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey said that Swami Ji is considered as Abhinav Shankaracharya and Abhinav Shukavatara. In the modern era, he has not only published the Vedic Sanatan religion and culture but also protected it by standing as its sentinel. An ordinary human being cannot simultaneously do such high level of sadhana, penance, discourse, debate, book writing, organization, movement etc. which Pujya Swami Ji has done. Acharya said that yagyas and conferences organized by him made a huge contribution to the freedom struggle. He added that the workers and monks of the religious organization protested against the partition of India by going in front of the Viceroy’s bunglow.
Dr. Gauri Shankar Tiwari said that the schools run by Swami Ji through Dharmsangh have a significant contribution in Sanskrit and Vedic education. Prof. Baliraj Thakur said that Swami Karpatri Ji Maharja was the Sun of Sanatan Dharma. His thoughts and his inspiration will remain the path of the world for the coming millennia. He added that according to the thoughts of Swami Ji the service of religion and culture is being done in our area by his disciple Acharya Bharat Bhushan Pandey on which we are proud.
Prof. Diwakar Pandey, Shiv Das Singh, Narmadeshwar Upadhayay, Janardan Mishra, Dhan Ji Dubey, Sanjay Pathak, Ashok Sanhortra, Manish Rai and also others also paid tributes to Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaja and called him the man of the era.
