STUDENT KILLED IN BHOJPUR VILLAGE

Ara, 28 May 2023, (RNI): Some miscreants slit throat of a student with a sharp edged weapon and killed him at Bhel Dumara village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Love affair is said to be the cause behind the incident. The deceased was identified as Ravi Kumar 19 son of Sajan Prasad alias Collectorate Prasad of Bhel Dumara village. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Ara Muffassil police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

Quoting the FIR the SHO Ara Muffassil police station said that Ravi Kumar had gone to the field in the village in the evening on May 27, 2023 to attend call of nature but he did not return home. Meanwhile, two youths came and queried about Ravi Kumar and when they did not find Ravi Kumar, they returned. The family members searched for him everywhere and also called him but he did not respond. In the morning, they got his other mobile number from his friend. They called on the new number and this time, a girl received the call. Meanwhile, the villagers informed that the body of Ravi Kumar was seen in this field and also informed the police. They rushed to the spot and saw that someone slit his throat with a sharp edged weapon and killed him. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
