Ara, 5 January 2023, (RNI): Some armed miscreants shot at and injured a graduate student at Kanakpuri Market near Ara railway station under Ara Nawada police station when he was going to his coaching centre. He was rushed to the Ara Sadar Hospital but later the family members admitted him to a private nursing home at Babu Bazaar at Ara. SHO Ara Nawada police station Avinash Kumar Singh rushed to the spot and started investigating the matter. The injured was identified as Suraj Sharma alias Golu Sharma 25 son of Sita Ram Sharma of Meerachak locality under Ara town police station.
Suraj Sharma alias Golu Sharma said that he is a graduate student and had gone to a coaching centre at Kanakpuri locality under Ara Nawada police station. He came out of his class for urination where some youths were quarrelling. Meanwhile, one of them fired and the bullet hit and injured him.
Reliable sources said that the youths were quarrelling for a girl and one of them fired.
