STRONG HEADED COMMUNITY ATTACK ON DALITS
-Strong headed minority community made murderous attack on the dalit class at Karari village under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district and injured at least half a dozen persons.
Bhabhua, 5 April 2023, (RNI): Strong headed minority community made murderous attack on the dalit class at Karari village under Durgawati police station in Kaimur district and injured at least half a dozen persons. They also slaughtered cows. The injured were admitted to the hospital. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Durgawati police station in this regard against 17 persons and the police have arrested two of them so far. Police are also conducting raids to arrest the rest.
The family of the injured said that some people of minority community demanded a calf from the Dalit community people and when refused, they made murderous attack on the Dalit family members and thrashed them badly. They also slaughtered cattle. They said that they are less in number in the village and so the strong headed minority community who are in majority in the village always did inhuman misbehaviour and also they molest their woman folk and they are helpless in protesting them.
SDPO Mohania Faiz Ahamad Khan said that an FIR has been lodged with the police under Durgapur police station against 17 persons in this regard and the police arrested two of them so far. He further said that police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the rest persons.
