Chairperson of the Indo-Tibetan Friendship Association, Bhojpur-Buxar Districts Unit, Prof. Dr. Baliraj Thakur presided over the meeting. He wished him a long life.

Babu Shiv Das Singh highlighted the history of Tibet and wished for its early freedom. Teacher Shashikant Tiwari congratulated the 14th Dalai Lama on his 89th birthday. Jitendra Kumar discussed China’s imperialistic policy in detail. Prof. Baliraj Thakur wished the Dalai Lama for his good health and long life. He said that Dalai Lama is the harbinger of world peace. He heartily congratulated him. Sri Ramnath Thakur, president, Indo-Tibet Friendship Association, Bhojpur-Buxar unit, conducted the meeting. Dilip Kumar Pandey, Janeshwar Rai, Saran Dhari Azad, Satyanarayn Upadhayaya, Vishnupad Tiwari, Narvdeshwar Upadhayaya, Lakshmi Narayan Rai and others were also present on the occasion.
