SON KILLED HIS MOTHER

Bhabhua, 11 March 2023, (RNI): Son attacked his mother with cauldron and killed her at Ward No 25 of Bhabhua in kaimur district. Later the villagers caught her son Pramod Ram and handed him over to police. Police recovered the body and brought it to the Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Sukara Devi 62 wife of Lalan Ram of Ward No. 25 of Bhabhua.

Pramod Ram, said to be mentally ill, attacked his mother Sukara Devi with cauldron when she was working in her house and killed her on spot. The villagers informed her second son Akash Kumar who at that time driving three wheeler. He came home and saw that her mother was lying in pool of blood and his elder brother Pramod Ram was sitting by her side. Later the villagers caught Pramod Ram and handed him over to police. It was said that he had attacked the daughter of his brother-in-law (saalaa) with axe about six months ago and injured her.
