SIKKIM GOVERNOR PERFORMED PUJA AT MAA ARANAYA DEVI TEMPLE

ARA--------------------------Sikkim Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya arrived in a one-day programme at Ara and performed puja at the historical Maa Aranya Devi temple along with his wife.

Sikkim Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya along with his wife arrived at the Maa Aranya Devi Temple in Ara by road from Buxar where the office bearers of the Maa Aranya Devi Trust and the priest of the temple welcomed him. The Governor went to the precinct of the temple along with his wife and paid obeisance. The priest of the temple conducted the formal Puja for the Governor couple. Later the office bearers of the temple and the priest jointly honoured the Governor couple by giving them a Chunari, the photo of Maa Aranaya Devi. The police administration remained alert all the time after his arrival.
