SHOW CAUSE NOTICE ON TWO GNMs FOR TAKING MONEY IN LIEU OF DELIVERY
Civil Surgeon (CS), Ara Sadar Hospital served show cause notices on two GNMs for demanding money in lieu of delivery. In the show cause notice the CS said them to reply as to why Annexure A is not formed and initiate departmental proceeding after lodging a named FIR against them.

ARA--------------------------Civil Surgeon (CS), Ara Sadar Hospital served show cause notices on two GNMs for demanding money in lieu of delivery. In the show cause notice the CS said them to reply as to why Annexure A is not formed and initiate departmental proceeding after lodging a named FIR against them.
These GNMs are accustomed of demanding money for delivery and whenever caught during investigation, they safeguard themselves after returning the money.
Rohit Kumar of Sikraul village under Sikarhatta police station complained the CS in writing the GNMs Kiran Kumari and Poonam Kumari demanded Rs. 2000 in lieu of delivery of his sister. The Deputy Superintendent and the DPM investigated the matter and when found the complaint correct, the GNMs returned the amount.
Earlier these GNMs had taken Rs. 2500 from Asma Bibi and Rs. 1000 from Fulwanti Kuer of Bagar village under Sikarhatta police station and when the complaint was found correct during investigation, they returned the amount.
The CS said that it is a punishable crime to take and give bribe in the government offices and sheer violation of Government Service Code and so he served show notice on the GNMs Kiran Kumari and Poonam Kumari with a warning to institute a named FIR and initiate departmental proceeding against them after forming annexure A.
