SHOP OWNER CRUSHED TO DEATH
One electronic shop owner was crushed to death when his motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding bus near Sudhani Mor under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Sasaram main road when he was going to open his shop at Kasap village.
Ara, 11 March 2023, (RNI): One electronic shop owner was crushed to death when his motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding bus near Sudhani Mor under Udwantnagar police station on Ara-Sasaram main road when he was going to open his shop at Kasap village. As the news spread, irate villagers blocked the Ara-Sasaram main road in between Udwantnagar block and CHC with the body for about an hour. They paralyzed the movement of vehicle by burning tyres on road and demanded arrest of the driver and action against the bus owner. The blockade could be lifted after positive response of police officers. BDO, Udwantnagar Arun Singh gave a cheque of Rs. 20,000 under Family Benefit Scheme to the family members of the deceased. Later the police brought the body to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Manish Kumar alias Guddu 22 son of Sunil Kumar of Udwantnagar.
SHO Udwantnagar police station said that Manish Kumar alias Guddu was going to his electronic shop at Kasap on his motorcycle and when he reached near Sudhani Mor under Udwantnagar police station, a speeding bus from Gadhani, collided head-on with the motorcycle injuring Manish Kumar badly. He as rushed to the CHC but the doctor referred him to the Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor diagnosed dead.
Family members of the deceased blamed that the doctors at the CHC did not provide Oxygen support otherwise he could have been saved. On the other hand, CHC Dr. Nishant said that the patient was bleeding profusely and his condition was deteriorating and so oxygen support was not possible.
