SEVEN MINOR CHILDREN FELL ILL AFTER EATING POISONOUS JAGGERY
At least 7 minor children fell ill after eating jaggery mixed with poison and were admitted to a private hospital at Mohania in Kaimur district. Condition of three children is stated to be serious.
Bhabhua, 5 April 2023, (RNI): At least 7 minor children fell ill after eating jaggery mixed with poison and were admitted to a private hospital at Mohania in Kaimur district. Condition of three children is stated to be serious. The children who fell ill are identified as Teni 15, Upendra 10, Akash 10, Rahul Kumar 8, Raj Kapoor Kumar 8, Suraj Kumar 7 and Rohit Kumar 7.
Family members of the children said that they were from Tekari in Gaya district in Bihar and worked at a brick kiln under Durgawati police station area in Kaimur district. They further said that some jaggery was put in the field mixed with some poison to kill birds but 7 minor children ate it and fell ill.
