Ara, 21 June 2023, (RNI): In a group clash one elderly woman was beaten to death while three others injured at Badahara village under the same police station merely for four decimal of land. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased as identified as Saraswati Devi 70 wife of Dudhnath Rai of Badahara village under the same police station. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Badahara police station in this regard against Shankar Rai, Satya Narayan Rai and Rohit Rai. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO Badahara police station said that a dispute over four decimal of land in Badahara village under the same police station was going on for the last 10 days in between the family of Dudhnath Rai and Shankar Rai of the village. In the morning two clash armed with traditional weapons and the group of Shankar Rai trashed Dudhnath Rai Narad Muni Rai. When Saraswati Devi went there to solve the problem, the Shankar Rai group attacked on her with traditional weapon and thrashed to kill her. Later they escaped from the scene.
