A speeding motorcycle crushed to death a septuagenarian at Badaki Sanadiya village under Ara Muffassil police station on Ara-Salempur main road in Bhojpur district in the late evening on January 12, 2025 when he was sitting at the gate of his house. The villagers chased and caught the youth along with his motorcycle.

ARA-----------------------A speeding motorcycle crushed to death a septuagenarian at Badaki Sanadiya village under Ara Muffassil police station on Ara-Salempur main road in Bhojpur district in the late evening on January 12, 2025 when he was sitting at the gate of his house. The villagers chased and caught the youth along with his motorcycle. The deceased was identified as Jagdish Upadhayaya 70 son of late Babu Lal Upadhayaya of Badaki Sanadiya village under Ara Muffasil police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
Nephew of the deceased said that his house situated on the edge of the road at Badaki Sanadiya village under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district. His uncle, Jagdish Upadhayaya was sitting at the gate of his house in the evening on January 12, 2024 when a youth on motorcycle at great speed from Salempur came and crushed him. The family members rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital.
