SEEDBLINGS PLANTED TO MARK WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

Ara, 5 June 2023, (RNI): Members of Youth Hostel Association of India, Ara branch planted siblings at Thakurbadi and Garden at Majhaua under Ara town police station today to mark the World Environment Day. Dr S K Rungata, Archana Singh, Guru Charan Singh. Anil Kumar, Dinesh Kumar, Ajay Krishna Agrawal, Vishnu Shankar Singh, Abhishek Agrawal, Dr Dinesh Kumar Sinha, Krishna Madhav Agrawal, Sunil Nayyar and others were present on the occasion.

Archana Singh, Chairperson said that trees are lifelines and so we should plant more and more trees to save environment and also human lives. She said that the YHAI plant trees every year in bulk and added today the association planted 41 siblings of fruits. She further said that trees give us wood, fruits, medicines, flowers and even rains. The trees inhale carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen which gives life to human beings and animals.

Dr S K Rungata, president said that we cut down trees indiscriminately for out self interest that presented eco imbalance in the world and in turn on existence of human beings. The environment imbalance causes excess rain or no rain, flood, drought, Tsunami and greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect increases temperature and sea level and thus we are losing the world bit by bit.
