SAND LABOURER CRUSHED TO DEATH
-One sand labour was crushed to death by a loader at Saripur Sand Stock Ghat under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district.
ARA (RNI) one sand labour was crushed to death by a loader at Saripur Sand Stock Ghat under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Lal Bahadur Chaudhary 50 of late Sri Chaudhary of Vishunpura village under Chandi police station. Later the police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Irate villagers blocked the Sakaddi-Nasariganj State Highway near Vishunpura and paralyzed movement of vehicles for about four hours and demanded compensation for the family of the deceased. The blockade could be lifted after the positive response of the police officials.
Satyendra Chadhary, nephew of the deceased said that his uncle Lal Bahadur Chaudhary worked at Saripur Sand Stock Ghat under Sandesh police station as helper. When he was helping the drivers of truck to back, a loader came from behind and crushed him to death.
