Removal of flexi banners highly atrocious and condemnable Gudur

Hyderabad, August 4 (RNI) BJP state executive committee member Gudur Narayana Reddy on Friday severely condemned removal of flexi banners welcoming BJP national General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar by the police and the GHMC staff. 
In a media statement, he said that the police and the GHMC staff have removed the flexi banners being set up at various regions of city by him forcibly. He said that his followers were showed away when they protested. 
He said that Bandi Sanjay Kumar was returning from Delhi after taking charge as National General Secretary. In view of this he has arranged flexi banners welcoming Sanjay . 
“However, the police and the GHMC  staff have started removing them even before the arrival of Sanjay Kumar.This is highly atrocious and objectionable as the welcoming programme was not over yet by the time of removal of banners,” he said. 
The BJP leader said that the police did not care when the ruling BRS arranges flexi banners on various occasions. The banners would be removed only after the programme was complete. But in his case the police and the GHMC staff removed them even before the arrival of the BJP National Leader, which was highly objectionable and condemnable. 
He criticized that the police and the GHMC staff were behaving like party cadre of the ruling party. No common man has complained against the arrangement of flexi banners by him. But the GHMC staff has shown over enthusiasm to remove the banners. 
Narayana Reddy said that the action of the municipal staff reflect the authoritarian behavior of the government. He alleged that the ruling party did not want any party to function in the state. 
He criticized that the officials and government staff has been bending the rules to prevent the opposition parties’ activities in state, particularly in Hyderabad. The official machinery was bending backwards to please their political bosses. 
He made it clear that the ruling party could not dent the morale of the BJP cadre with such cheap tactics. “The BRS could not shadow the Saffron party with the covers of police and municipal staff. It would emerge as rising Sun,” the BJP leader said. 
He said that the ruling party was afraid of BJP and its leaders as the people were eager to vote  to power in the next elections. BRS leaders were trying to browbeat the BJP leaders and workers from organizing party activities. 
He made it clear that they would not be deterred by the actions of ruling party and would continue to spread the message of BJP among the people and would bring the party to the power in the next elections to the Assembly and Parliament.
