Rs. 14 LAKH LOOTED, GUARD SHOT DEAD
In a broad day light, some unidentified armed miscreants looted Rs. 14 lakh when the employees of Punjab National Bank (PNB) were putting cash in the ATM at Purab Pokhara locality under Bhabhua police station today in Kaimur district and when guard protested, they shot him dead and escaped with the booty.
Bhabhua, 7 January 2023, (RNI): In a broad day light, some unidentified armed miscreants looted Rs. 14 lakh when the employees of Punjab National Bank (PNB) were putting cash in the ATM at Purab Pokhara locality under Bhabhua police station today in Kaimur district and when guard protested, they shot him dead and escaped with the booty. They also took away guns of two guards though the police later recovered both the rifles of guard. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Bhabhua police station in this regard. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO Bhabhua police station said that the employees of PNB were putting cash in the ATM today when motorcycle borne three unidentified armed miscreants came there. They put red pepper powder into the eyes of cash van and shot dead the guard. Later they looted Rs. 14 lakh in cash and two rifles of the guards and escaped from the scene though the police recovered both the rifles.
