RPF ARREST TICKET BROKER
-RPF, Ara post arrested a ticket broker from the Bihia railway reservation counter under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur and recovered some reserved tickets and cash from him.
Ara, 5 July 2023, (RNI): RPF, Ara post arrested a ticket broker from the Bihia railway reservation counter under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur and recovered some reserved tickets and cash from him. The arrested ticket broker was identified as Prakash Sharma son of Lalan Prasad Verma of Ward No 6 under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district.
SHO RPF, Ara post Suman Kumari said that she got information about the ticket brokers acting at the reservation counter at Bihia railway station but the RPF was unable to arrest them but meanwhile, the police got information that some ticket brothers are seen around the Bihia reservation counter. The SHO further said that she formed a police team and conducted raid and arrested a ticket broker and recovered some reserved railway tickets and some cash from him though some other ticket brokers escaped from the scene.
