RPF AND GRP ARREST THREE LADY MISCREANTS FROM THE ARA RAILWAY STATION, SENT THEM TO JAIL

Ara, 21 June 2023, (RNI): RPF and GRP, Ara post arrested three lady lifters from the Ara railway station Platform No 3 under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR) Hajipur when they were trying to escape after alighting from the 18640 Ranchi-Ara Express train and recovered three golds locket, two gold earrings,  The lady lifters were identified as Geeta Devi 56 wife of Khaderu Prasad, Guddi Devi 38 wife of Raju and Anita Devi 36 wife of Sujeet Kumar of Bharauli Golambar under Narahi police station of Balia district in in Uttar Pradesh. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under the GRP in the regard against the arrested miscreants and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

SHO RPF, Suman Kumari said that Geeta Devi, Guddi Devi and Anita Devi of Balia district in Uttar Pradesh made a gang and operated in between Ranchi and Ara railway stations. They made their prey specially women, girls and children and very few persons could realize that they were lifters. The SHO stated that as the 18640 Ranchi-Ara Express train in the night at the Ara railway station platform No 3 came, the three women alighted and tried to flee away but the RPF and the GRP personnel who were on patrolling at the railway station, suspected and halted them. They women gave conflicting statement that strengthened suspicion and the police arrested them and when interrogated, they confessed their guilt and the police recovered snatched articles from them.
