ROHTAS POLICE SEIZED 42 KG OF GANJA, ARREST TWO DRUG PEDDLERS

SASARAM (RNI) Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, seized 42 kilogram of ganja worth about Rs. 5 lakh and arrested two drug peddlers from near Jakhani Canal Bridge under Nokha police station in Rohtas district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Nokha police station against the arrested drug peddler under the NDPC Act and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Ritesh Kumar Singh alias Bunty 31 son of Parashu Ram of Tenduni village under Kargahar police station and Lallu Kumar 24 son of Dhanji Chandravanshi of Gamhariya (West) under Nokha police station in Rohtas district. Police are investigating the matter.

Sasaram DSP 2, Kumar Vaibhav said that police got information that drug was being carried near Jakhani Bridge on Ara-Sasaram main road. He at once formed a police team that intercepted two motorcycles and when searched, the police recovered about 42 kilograms of ganja packed in two gunny bags, mobile, Rs. 7500 in cash and also seized two motorcycles.
