ROHTAS POLICE SEIZE 3.26 KG OF GANJA, ARREST FOUR GANJA SMUGGLERS AND RECOVER Rs. 2 LAKH IN CASH

SASARAM--------------------------Rohtas police arrested three ganja smugglers and also seized 30 kilogram of ganja loaded in a car, four mobiles and about Rs 2 lakh in cash from near Kund Chowk under Dinara police station in Rohtas district in the night. The police also seized the car. The arrested ganja smugglers were identified as Anup Kumar son of Madan Singh of Dilia village under Dehari Muffassil police station, Dhananjay Singh son of Lali Singh of Mithopur under Indrapuri police station and Sonu Kumar son of Vashishth Yadav of Maharodh village under Natwar police station in Rohtas district. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Dinara police station against the arrested ganja smugglers and the police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Rohtas SP Vinit Kumar said that the police got information that a big consignment of ganja was being smuggled and so the police launched vehicle checking drive near Kund Chowk under Dinara police station in the late evening. The police intercepted a red colour car and seized 30.26 kilogram ganja from it. The police also recovered four mobiles and about Rs. 2 lakh in cash and the police also seized the car. The SP further said that the police are investigating the matter and also trying to know details of the gang of the ganja smugglers.
