ROHTAS POLICE SEIZE 275 KG OF GANAJA WORTH ABOUT Rs. 50 LAKH, ARREST TWO DRUG PEDDLERS

SASARAM-----------------------Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, arrested two members of Inter-State gang of drug pedderls and seized 275 kilograms of ganaj worth about 50 lakh. A named FIR has been lodged with the police in this regard and the police sent them to jail after interrogation. The arrested drug peddlers were identified as Saroj Kumar Singh 40 son of Kashi Nath Singh of Kanjan under Kochas police station in Rohtas disttict and Satyam Ram 30 son of Inkant Rai of Gajipur under Zamania police station in Uttar Pradesh.

Rohtas SP Roushan Kumar said that the drug peddlers were smuggling the contraband ganja on a Pick-Up van by hiding it under jackfurits from Odisa and had planned to sale it at Sasaram. He said that he got information regarding it and so he formed a police team and directed to seized the ganja and arrest the drug peddlers. The police team, acting on a tip off, intercepted a Pick-Up van and when searched, the police seized 275 kilograms of ganaj worth about Rs. 50 lakh in the internatonal market. The police also arrested two members of Inter-State gang of drug peddlers. रा
