Sasaram (RNI) Rohtas police recovered two minor children and handed them over to their family members after getting their statement registered under section 164 CrPC in the Sasaram Civil Court.

ASI Priya Kumari said that Akhilesh Sah of Imaritiya villag under Suryapura police station had lodged an FIR with the police under Suryapura police station on March 9, 2024 regarding missing of his son Bittu Kumar 11 and daughter Beauty Kumari 8 in which he said that both the children had gone to the field to attend call of nature on March 1, 2024 and when they did not return, the family members searched for them everywhere but in vain and at last he lodged an FIR on March 9, 2024 regarding missing of the children. The ASI said that after institution of FIR, the police swung into action. In the evening the Buxar police informed their Rohtas counterpart that two minor children were found loitering in the street of Buxar and the police brought to the police station. When queried, the children told the police that they are residents of Suryapura police station area. On information, the SI, Suryapura police station Roushan Kumar Bharati reached Buxar and identified both the children and brought both the children to the Suryapura police station. When queried the children there, they told the police that they left home and reached Bikramganj and then Sasaram. Later they came to Ara in a train whence they reached Brahmpur to visit Shivratri fair there and later came to Buxar. The police produced both the children before the court and later handed them over to their family members after getting their statement registered under section 164 CrPC.
