ROHTAS POLICE RECOVERED LOOTED RICE FROM BHOJPUR

SASARAM-----------------------Rohtas police recovered looted rice from Bhojpur district and also arrested one person in this regard.

SHO Shivsagar police station Rakesh Gosai said that some armed miscreants in a car kidnapped the driver of a truck and looted 31 quintal of rice loaded on the truck from near Pakhwari village on NH-19 under Shivsagar police station on August 29, 2023 night. The miscreants released the driver at a secluded place near Piro in Bhojpur district after snatching cash and mobile. Later the driver complained the police regarding the incident. On his complaint, the SHO formed a police team that following mobile surveillance and conducted raid at Hirakhi Pipara village under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district and arrested Manoj Yadav son of Samhut Prasad Yadav red handed while unloading rice from the truck. The SHO further said that during interrogation, the arrested persons named the miscreants and the police are conducting raids to arrest them.
