SASARAM------------------------An elderly woman with the help of her lover killed her husband and threw his body into a canal to evade evidences. She also lodged an FIR with the police under Dinara police station regarding missing of her husband. The matter came out of closet after the recovery of the body floating in the canal. The deceased was identified as Abhishek Rai 44 son of late Rameshwar Rai of Akodhigola village under Dhansoi police station in Rohtas district. Later the police brought the body to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police arrested a person Sanjay Kumar son of Jagdish Kumar from Delhi and are conducting raids to arrest Sima Devi, wife of the deceased.
SDPO Kumar Sanjay said that Sanjay Kumar and the deceased, Abhishek Rai were labours and lived in a house. Meanwhile, Sanjay Kumar came in contact with Sima Devi wife of the deceased and mother of 22 year old son and fell in love but Abhishek Rai was a party pooper and so they decided to eliminate him. They hatched a plan and later they slit his throat and also threw the body in the canal in the village to erase evidence for about five days ago. Meanwhile, the police recovered body of the deceased from the canal and brought it to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The SDPO said that Sanjay Kumar confessed his crime and added that the detail report will be cleared after the post mortem. The police later sent Sanjay Kumar to jail after interrogation.
