ROHTAS POLICE RECOVERED BODIES OF TWO YOUTHS OF BUXAR

SASARAM (RNI) Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead two youth near Lilari bridge at Dharupur Canal under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district in the morning. Later the police recovered the bodies and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police also three blank cartridges, one packet country made liquor and one motorcycle from the spot. The deceased were identified as Vinay Kumar 25 son of Dayanand Yadav of Manapa village under Murar police station and Himanshu Kumar 19 of Buxar town in Buxar district. Reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

SHO Bikramganj police station Lalan Kumar said that some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead two youths from point blank range and threw the bodies near Lilari Bridge atDharupur Canal under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district to erase evidence. On information, the police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. The police also requisitioned a team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL). The FSL team collected some evidence and sent the bodies to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The SHO further said that he photographed both the bodies with motorcycle and sent it to all the police stations. At about 12pm family members of one of the deceased came and identified Vinay Kumar 25 son of Dayanand Yadav okf Manapa village under Murar police station in Buxar district. The family members said that Vinay Kumar had set out of his house at Dumrao in Buxar district after 4pm after a call from his friend and did not return home. The SHO further said that the second disease was identified as Himanshu Kumar but his family members have come so far.

The SHO stated that the this is a blind case as nothing noticeable like identity cards and mobiles could be found from the deceased. He said had the police got mobiles of the deceased, the murderers could have been arrested at the earliest. He stated though they were identified and now it is to be ascertained as to at whose call Vinay Kumar had come there in the night and why he was killed and why Himanshu Kumar accompanied him. Were they friends. The SHO said that three 9mm blank cartridges were recovered from the spot. The FSL has collected blood stain, blank cartridges, key of the motorcycle, finger prints.
