ROHTAS POLICE RECOVER LOOTED 501 BAGS OF MOONG DAAL AND ARRESTED TWO MISCREANTS INCLUDING THE TRUCK DRIVER

SASARAM (RNI) Rohtas police, acting on a tip off seized a truck and gas cutter and arrested the truck driver with 501 bags of moong daal. The police also arrested two members of inter-district gang.

Shubhank Mishra, SDPO, Dehari-on-Sone said that some armed miscreants had looted 501 bags of moong daal loaded on a truck in the wee hour on July 20, 2024 near Coal DEPO under Dehari Muffassil police station. The police lodged an FIR in this regard on the statement of the victim, the driver of the truck Roushan Kumar Singh of Naya Tola Gosal Chak village under Bodh Gaya police station. He added that the Rohtas SP took the matter seriously and formed a police under the Dehari SDPO. The police interrogated the complainant who confessed his involvement in the loot. He confessed before the police that he along with another person committee the loot. On his revelation, the police recovered 501 bags of looted moong daal kept in three rooms at Yadav Market of Bechu Yadav at Bhukhia village under Cherki police station of Gaya district, three gas cutters, one broken lock and the truck bearing registration number BR02 625.The police also arrested Arvind Kumar of Itara village under Bodh Gaya police station of Gaya district in this regard.
