ROHTAS POLICE ARRESTED HUSBAND AND HIS SON FOR MURDERING WIFE AND DAUGHTER

SASARAM---------------------------Rohtas police recovered bodies of two women from near Motor Cabin at Kala Hill at Piyara village under Chutiya police station in Rohtas district and brought them to the Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased were identified as Parvati Devi 47 wife of Ram Nath Ram and Pratibha Kumari 23 daughter of Ram Nath Ram of Piyara Kala Hill under Chutiya police station in Rohtas district.

Rohtas SP Roushan Kumar said that the husband of the deceased Ram Nath Ram and his son Chhotu Kumar said on the incident told him that the deceased had gone to the Motor Cabin to switch on the motor and they were electrocuted to death there but their statement seem suspicious. The SP said that the prima facie of the case showed that they were strangulated to death. The SP formed a police team under the SDPO-2 that interrogated Ram Nath Ram and his son Chhotu Kumar. Both revealed that they had fixed the marriage of Pratima Kumar somewhere in Jharkhand but she did not want to marry there and her mother Parvati Devi supported her. Pratima Kumari wanted to marry with a boy of her choice but Ram Nath Ram and his son Chhotu Kumar did not like. They persuaded Pratima Kumari but she did not yield and so father and son together hatched a plan and strangulated them to death when they were sleeping and threw the bodies near the Motor Cabin to give it a colour of accident and told the villagers that they were electrocuted to death. After that the police arrested Ram Nath Ram 51 son of Bigan Ram of Piyaara Kala Hill under Chutiya police station in Rohtas and his son Chhotu Kumar 18 and sent them to jail after interrogation. A named FIR was lodged with the police under Chutiya police station in this regard and the police are investigating the matter.
