ROHTAS POLICE ARRESTED A MURDER ACCUSED

Sasaram, 24 July 2023, (RNI): Rohtas police arrested a miscreant and sent him to jail after interrogation in connection with murder of an employee Rishi Kumar of finance company near Amethi Lakh under Bikramganj police station on Natwar-Sanjhauli main road on September 23, 2022 when he was returning after collection. The arrested miscreant was identified as Sourabh Patel alias Sourabh Raj son of Ajay Chaudhary of Rediya village under Bikramganj police station.  

SDPO Shashi Bhushan Singh said that some armed miscreants had shot dead an employee of a finance company Rishi Kumar and snatched Rs. 83000 from him near Amethi Lakh under Bikramganj police station on Natwar-Sanjhauli main road in Rohtas district on September 22, 2023 when he was returning after collecting money from different villages. An FIR was lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station in this regard. After institution of FIR, the police swung into action and following scientific research and mobile surveillance arrested Sourabh Patel alias Sourabh Raj from his house. The SDPO said that the police had earlier arrested the rest miscreants and had recovered Rs. 8300 from them. The SDPO further said that an FIR has also been pending with the police under Natwar police station against the arrested miscreant.
