ROHTAS POLICE ARRESTED 23 PERSONS INCLUDING 17 BOUNCERS FROM A HOTEL

Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, arrested 23 persons including 17 bouncers from Hotel Shiva Grand at Water Tank under Bikramganj police station and seized two rifles. Three of the arrested persons were found in drunken stage.

SASARAM (RNI) Rohtas police, acting on a tip off, arrested 23 persons including 17 bouncers from Hotel Shiva Grand at Water Tank under Bikramganj police station and seized two rifles. Three of the arrested persons were found in drunken stage. A named FIR has been lodged with the police under Bikramganj police station under the Arms Act against them and the police sent them to jail though the court released them on bail later. The arrested persons were identified as Amit Kumar Choubey, Manish Kumar Mishra, Dhan Jee Singh, Chgandra Bhushan Rai alias Guddu Rai, Babloo Rai, Amit Kumar Singh, Sunil Kumar Rai, Neeraj Yadav, Arvind Kumar, Vivek Kumar, Rahil Sharma, Birendra Kumar, Jitendra Seth, Amit Tiwari, Janardan Yadav, Abhishek, Umesh Sharma, Sarvesh Raghuvanshi, Shailendra Mohan, Krishna Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Rajendra Kumar, Jitendra Kumar and six others. All the bouncers from Uttar Pradesh had come at the call of a bouncer Amit Kumar Choubey of Durgadiha.

SHO BIkramganj police station Lalan Kumar said that he got information that a number of people had assembled at Hotel Shiva Grand with firearms. On information, the police reached the spot and arrested two persons who were standing there with rifles. The police nabbed three persons inebriated form from the room No 303 of the hotel and 18 others. The police brought them to the police station whence the police sent them to jail. Later they got bail from the court in the evening the same day.

The SHO said that two bouncers of Gajipur in Uttar Pradesh Ajit Kumar Singh and Babloo Ram were arrested with the rifles. During investigation it came to light that the license of rifle of Ajit Kumar Singh was issued from Uttar Pradesh but he had taken permission to carry the rifle from Uttar Pradesh to Bihar while the license of rifle of Babloo Ram was issued from Jammu and Kashmir but he had not given information about it at the time of entering Bihar and so both the rifles were seized though both have license. The rifles can be returned at the order of the court.

Sources said that Amit Kumar Choubey of Durgadiha had some land dispute including money with a villager and so had called bouncers from Uttar Pradesh to demonstrate his power and also to unleash reign of terror in the area. All had gone to Durgadiha and a video of if was made viral on the social media.
