ROHTAS POLICE ARREST TWO THIEVES

SASARAM----------------------------Rohtas police arrested three miscreants in connection with theft of Plywood worth about Rs. 15 lakh from a shop under Sasaram town police station in the night on November 25, 2024 and also recovered the stolen plywood.

SDPO-1 Dilip Kumar said that some unidentified miscreants had stolen plywood worth about Rs. 15 lakh from a shop under Sasaram town police station in the night on November 25, 2024 and an FIR was lodged with the police under Sasaram town police station on November 26, 2024 on the statement of the shop owner Gaurav Kumar. Taking it seriously a police team under the SDPO-1 Dilip Kumar and the police started investigating the matter conducting raids. During investigation, it came to light that the plan to theft was hatched by an employee of the shop who sold the stolen plywood in Nokha and Sasaram. Later the police arrested two persons who had purchased the stolen plywood. The SDPO further said that the police conducted raid at the revelation of Sonu Kumar of Kaupa village under Shivsagar police station and arrested Ankit Kumar alias Chandan Kumar from Bazaar Samiti at Takia. On the revelation of Chandan Kumar alias Ankit Kumar the police recovered the stolen plywood and door. The police also arrested a shopkeeper Sanjay Kumar of an area under Rampur Baghail police station and recovered the stolen plywood from his Hardware shop at Nokha. He stated that the police had sent two persons to jail under judicial custody while the police will sent the third one to jail after arresting him.
